Terms of Service

The Service

Firmcraft lets you connect devices, store and visualise their telemetry, configure alerts, run analytics and manage firmware updates. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping sign-in credentials and device certificates secure, and for all activity under your account, including by users and viewers you invite.
• Tell us promptly at info@firmcraft.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

Plans and payment

• The free plan and each paid plan have limits on devices, data, users and retention, as shown when you choose a plan. We may change plan limits and prices for future billing periods with notice.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for the subscription period you choose, through Razorpay. Prices shown are exclusive of GST unless stated.
• When a subscription ends and is not renewed, access is limited after a short grace period, and data older than the free plan’s retention period may be deleted.
• Payments are non-refundable, including for unused time in a subscription period, except where Indian law requires a refund or where we terminate the Service without cause.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights, using the Service;
• try to access another customer’s data, or probe, scan or test the Service’s security without our written permission;
• send malware, or load the Service in a way meant to disrupt it;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties except as part of your own product with our agreement.

Your data

You keep all rights to the data and firmware you upload or send to the Service. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service to you. You can export your data from the dashboard while your account is active. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Firmware, alerts and AI output

• You are responsible for the firmware you deploy through over-the-air updates and for testing it before rollout.
• Alerts depend on devices, networks and email delivery that can fail. Do not rely on the Service as the only safeguard for life-safety, medical or other critical systems.
• AI-generated answers and insights can be wrong. Check them before acting on them.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and will try to give notice of planned downtime.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts the Service or other customers at risk, or remains unpaid. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to export data first.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or damage to equipment. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Salem, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and email account holders about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
